Mini Musicians for 1st-3rd Graders
Upper Elementary for 3rd-6th Graders
Hal Leonard’s Essential Elements Music Class: “Hal Leonard's Essential Elements Music Class Interactive is an online subscription service that comes with a wealth of digital resources! There are hundreds of songs, videos, digital books, and interactive resources available to subscribers.”
The daily lessons will be projected on a screen and students will learn to read, move to, and enjoy music together. Students will be exposed to music of different time periods and cultures as well as have the opportunity to sing and play rhythm instruments. This curriculum addresses Social Emotional Learning and meets National Core Art Standards.
Classes run August to May on Tuesdays for 50 minutes. Approximately 33 class meetings.
Location: Grace Presbyterian Church, 49 Varden Dr, Aiken
Cost: $30 one-time material fee, $20 a month (payments begins in September, no May fee)
Supplies needed: 1 inch binder, pencil pouch, 2 pencils, crayons or color pencils
